**Ardelia's Amanda Bred  Lt. Brown Huacaya Female  DOB 12/7/01 Amanda gave birth to a female cria on May 31 - she weighed in at 21 lbs, has a bright white head , brown body, and 4 nearly identical white knee socks with little red shoes...perfectly straight and strong.   Nice younger dam, daughter to SRX Ardelia who is also a part of this package. Brown Huacaya Female DOB 11/23/00.   Blessings is a nicely proportioned, fully fleece female but has had no full term cria to date and is sold as a "companion."  With proper vet care it is just possible she might be able to carry to term, but she is not a part of this package as a production dam.  We recently had an older female, age 7, who finally produced a wonderful cria for us and she had never conceived before.   Blessings is sired by El Ranchito Antonio who is a real looker with very richly colored reddish-brown fleece.  Her dam is El R Wyler

**AVH Peruvian High Noon  Proven  Light Brown Huacaya male   DOB: 9/19/02   High Noon has sired three crias, two females and one male.   His first offspring, Calamity Jane, won a ribbon at the AWE show last April in Reno.   Peruvian bloodlines.

Dove's Creek Sumatra    Bred  Dark Brown Huacaya Female  DOB 6/2/99   Dam:  Meadowlark's Latte  Sire:  PRA Don Miguel  (son of famous Peruvian Bueno)    Nicely proportioned production dam who has produced a variety of colors to date - from white to medium fawn, to dark brown.  One of her offspring, Angel Gabriel, won a 3rd place ribbon in a large 2 year old Md/Dk Fawn class this past weekend at the California Classic.  Notice her recent cria is a lovely grey in the photo laying front of her.  She is currently bred for a fall 2008 cria to champion, Fair Winds Corregidor.    (Location:  No. California)    $11,500  

 

 

**Extravaganza   Bred White Huacaya Female  DOB: 3/1/99    Sire:  Batido S150   Dam:  Cassandra Import

Extravaganza F0204 is a tall, stretchy female with strong bone and excellent posture. She has now produced two crias. Her first cria, Charisma Moore, is one of the breeders' favorites. Charisma has beautiful fawn fiber with excellent luster and fleece character. Charisma's fiber is uniform and dense crimpy dense fiber. Extravaganza comes from a white imported dam, Cassandra, and a domestic born sire, Batido. Batido's sire is the very famous Peruvian Oro, who was once owned by Alpacas of America. Before Oro was sold, AOA was able to breed him to several females, and one breeding resulted in the light fawn Batido. Right from the beginning, Batido was stud quality, and before long he was sold to the largest farm in Canada. Batido currently resides in Canada, making his genetics no longer available in the United States today. Purchasing an alpaca from Batido's blood line means you have less competition from related genetics in the United States. With just over 100 offspring registered with the ARI, most of these also reside up in Canada. Extravaganza's dam, Cassandra, has now produced 8 offspring; she came into the United States in 1997 and has basically produced a cria each year since then. Cassandra's crias range in color from white to dark fawn, depending on the color of the herd sire to which she was bred. She is bred toR Avalanche for a 2007 cria. Aguas Calientes  Maroon Son of Peruvian Meteor   This striking domestic Suri stud has all of his famous sire's traits and more!  Not only Meteor's maroon fiber, but his head to toe coverage with uniform tight spiral locks.  At 2 1/2 years of age his fiber analysis showed an average fiber diameter of 20.3mc, a standard deviation of 4.6, a coefficient of variation of 22.7% and only 3.6% over 30 microns.   Here is a recent photo of Aguas - shorn.  In addition to gorgeous color, great fiber, and a a docile nature, this herdsire has picture perfect presence and solid conformation.  His dam, Afra, is a gorgeous born with terrific coverage and density.  Aguas has produced high luster whites to true black....crias with tight locks, complete coverage, outstanding presence and confidence with solid, straight, upright conformation.   Short term financing available...inquire.  (Location: So, Calif.)   $15,000 (1/2 Interest)

Patience's Mahogany and female cria, Kahlua   (dark brown born 6/1/06)   Huacayas   Mahogany's medium brown fleece has a mahogany cast and she was sired by Claim Jumper, a medium rose grey.   Mahogany demonstrated materials instincts at a young age by "adopting" an orphaned, bottled-fed cria.  While she had to milk to give him, she was able to comfort him and he kushed by her and slept with his head on her...a beautiful bonding.   She now has her own first cria and is a wonderful Mom.  Kahlua's sire is Patagonia's Topper, son of Patagonia's Neruda.   

   Ivory and Female Cria, Ivory's Hazel, fawn born 5/31/06   Huacayas   Ivory is a very calm animal with very dense fleece which she inherited from her sire, El Magnifico.    Add to that her excellent uniformity (16.3cv) and she should be a spinner's delight.   Bring these quality fleece characteristics into your herd.    Sire to her beautiful fawn cria is Ballico, a son of El Moustachio.
